Brake winches

Winches with self-activating friction brakes positively hold while raising and lowering, with double ratchet spring for extra security, German approved models only. Winches have TUFFPLATE finish with a black drum. See below for the different models.

All braked winches are CE-marked according to Maskindirektivets norm 89/38/EEC.

Guide to Rolling Load Capacity

Capacity based on direct line pull on first layer of line on drum. Capacity is reduced as line builds up on the drum. Note: 5% incline is 0.5 m rise in 10 m.
